Differential and Gearbox Specialists has a Gleason Lapping maching for all hypoid and spiral bevel gears. Lapping can be used to refine and recover slight waer factors to reduce its noise of operation and improve the gear tooth contact. Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, we offer a 12 month/20,000km warranty on all new parts and workmanship.

 

Do you work after hours or on the weekends?

Our business hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday, although we can accommodate for special circumstances or urgent vehicles upon request, if work is required after hours or over the weekend.

 

Do you have a loan car?

Unfortunately we cannot offer you a loan car, but we do have the ability to assist you in organizing a rental car at cheap prices.

 

Do you offer changeover units?

We do offer some changeover units on some popular makes and models, but a deposit is required until the old unit is received.

 

What are your payment options?

We accept cash, direct deposit, Visa, Mastercard, and cheques.

 

 

How long will it take to fix my vehicle?

Most differential rebuilds take 1-2 days and most gearbox rebuilds take 3-5 days.

 

Can you give a price over the phone?

An estimate can be established over the phone, but a precise quote can only be established upon inspection of the unit itself.

 

Do you do automatic transmissions?

No, rather than focusing on all transmissions types and options, we highly specialise in gearboxes and differentials.

 

Do you do front and rear wheel bearings?

Yes, we are able to fix your front and rear wheel bearings.

 

Will my car be secure overnight?

All cars are kept inside overnight under a monitored alarm system.
